Overview

v1.5 is the nineteenth version of Creature Combat which added Dummy Arena and renames Crafting Mode to Crafting Course.

Additions

Game Modes

  • You can decide yourself when a creeper spawns
  • Creepers do not blow up
  • Story Mode has new cutscenes

Changes

Game Modes

  • Waiting time for Campfire Quest reduced from 5 to 2.5 minutes
  • Campfire Quests creeper that dropped 2 enchanted golden apples now drops a Creeper Tear
  • Kit-Finder Mode can now be played after winning the Bow-shooter minigame in the Deathroom
  • Crafting Mode is now called Crafting Course

Gameplay

  • Objectives Board and the sidebar are now in sync
  • Potion of Speedy Strength from the Creeper Head Display has been replaced by the Potion of Saturating Haste
  • 'Artifacts' are now called 'Artefacts'

Fixed

The Deathroom in v1.5

  • Kit 'Witch +' had the wrong information
  • Potions of Harming were not exactly effective in Skeleton Mode
  • The button to end Story Mode could be placed at the wrong location
  • Skeleton Mode didn't remove steak at the end of the game
  • The Kill All Creepers Spawn Egg didn't work
  • Crafting Courses' spawn point did not set when a game started
  • Enchanted Books could be stolen from the Enchanted Shop (even though they weren't useful)
  • The Potion Effects of the kit 'Death' weren't very useful in Skeleton Mode; Skeletons are undead
  • You were unable to die in Skeleton Mode due to the Saturation Status Effect
  • Skeleton Mode didn't affect the Times Played scoreboard objective

Scrapped

The map from above

  • The Game Ends option would've been added in this update, but this was delayed because it required a feature added in Minecraft 1.15
  • The kit 'Life' would've been more expensive. That was scrapped
  • There was a bug during testing, which apparently wasn't a bug. That "bug" has therefore been scrapped
  • A bug which I hadn't been able to fix was scrapped, in which every item from the Crafting Machine was removed when an item was being crafted
  • Kit-Finder Mode would've been made unused
  • Scrapping Dummy Arena was scrapped
